Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Quiz Trainer, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

Description of Service

Quiz Trainer is a trivia training application that provides:

• A library of trivia questions across multiple categories
• An ELO-based skill rating system
• Spaced repetition learning tools
• Performance tracking and analytics
• High-stakes challenge modes

User Accounts

You may use Quiz Trainer without creating an account. If you choose to sign in:

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You agree to provide accurate information
• You may delete your account at any time through the app settings

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Quiz Trainer only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

• Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the application
• Use the app to distribute malicious content
• Exploit bugs or glitches for unfair advantage
• Share or distribute the question content outside the app
• Use automated systems or bots to interact with the service

Intellectual Property

All content in Quiz Trainer, including but not limited to:

• Questions and answers
• User interface design
• Graphics, icons, and mascot characters
• Software code
• The "Desmond" character and associated imagery

is the property of Quiz Trainer or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

In-App Purchases

Quiz Trainer may offer optional in-app purchases:

• Premium subscriptions for ad-free experience and advanced features
• Pro Plan for lifetime access to all features
• DLC question packs for specialized topics

All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policies.

Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

Free Tier and Advertising

Quiz Trainer's free tier includes advertisements. By using the free tier, you acknowledge that:

• Advertisements will be displayed during natural breaks in gameplay
• You may watch rewarded videos for in-app benefits
• Upgrading to Premium removes all advertisements

Question Content

While we strive for accuracy in all our questions:

• We cannot guarantee that every question and answer is 100% accurate
• Trivia facts may become outdated as new information emerges
• You can report errors using the in-app reporting feature
• Question difficulty ratings are determined algorithmically and may not always reflect perceived difficulty

Disclaimer of Warranties

Quiz Trainer is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy of all question content
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• That the app will meet your specific requirements
• That any errors in the service will be corrected

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quiz Trainer and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use or inability to use the application
• Any errors or inaccuracies in question content
• Loss of data or statistics
• Unauthorized access to your data

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes through the app or via email.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Quiz Trainer at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe:

• Violates these Terms of Service
• Is harmful to other users or the service
• Constitutes fraud or abuse of the service

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Quiz Trainer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
